It all started with a fuse bead set I bought my daughter for Christmas. After we made every pattern in the booklet, I went online in search of more challenging designs and more colors.
That’s how I discovered the world of pixel artists who create amazing 8-bit artwork with graphics, cross stitch, and fuse beads! I jumped in with both hands using free patterns I found on the Internet and slowly began designing my own through trial and error.
Each piece is an homage to fandom (comics, cartoons, music, television, and film) and is one-of-a-kind. My big break came when I submitted some of my work to the Oakland Art Con. One of my pieces is now hanging in the office of a Pixar director.
